About Us
Erin Nicole Jackson, Owner
Jackson & Company designs unique environments that enhance clients' lives, and creates spaces to make memories for a lifetime. With fifteen years in the industry and considerable experience in multiple specialized fields, Erin demonstrates an eye for uncommon details and forward thinking strategies in all of her work. Her approach is client-centered and innovative, paired with a well-trained eye for quality craftsmanship and fine details.
For Erin, designing interiors starts with the client. She understands the importance of open communication lines and utilizes her expertise, along with collaboration skills and innovation, to achieve her client's greatest vision. Her selections demonstrate how the most obvious solution isn't always the best or most creative. It is innovative ideas coupled with client rapport that will lead a space to its most original, inviting presence for a client to enjoy for years to come.
Erin believes design has an impact on our mood and how we feel. When she creates a space for a client, she wants it to be inspiring. She chooses elements that offer great depth and interest, and pairs them with structured continuity, varying contrast in scale, and dynamic textures to produce the feel of an organic balance. Erin is also known to occasionally allow room for an unexpected detail or two that offers up a bit of humor. She enjoys the work of Jonathan Adler and how he will push the boundaries of classic forms.
Erin’s career began in furniture design and then progressed to the interior design field as she worked for industry-leaders Waterworks, Virginia Tile, Stroheim, and Ethan Allan. Each step in her career provided her striking insight to the capabilities and possibilities of materials, importance of keen detail, and strategy for adjusting to each client’s style.
Erin continually strives to sharpen her expertise in order to customize designs for each client. She studied interior design and furniture design at The Australia National University and The College for Creative Studies where she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts. She is a world traveler and with every city she visits, she aims to expand her design vocabulary and vision for her work. Exploring the world and collaborating with clients is what deepens Erin's understanding of how people experience spaces and what makes them feel at home.
